My name is Cody Winiecki. I live in Loveland Colorado with my beautiful wife, three amazing children, a dog, and a cat. I received my BFA in illustration from the University of Arizona and have been teaching for 6 years. 

Like many artists, I always harbored an innate joy for creating, but it wasn't until my early twenties when I witnessed others my age truly studying art that I realized it could be pursued as more than a hobby. I was hooked. Although I entered school with a passion for illustration, it wasn't long before I discovered the complex world of the classical masters which greatly influenced my development as an artist. Many people try to separate the worlds of fine art and illustration, however I chose to embrace them as one limitless universe in which an artist can carve out their own unique path.

I founded Sparrow Art Center with a desire to spread my own wings as an artist, while helping others discover the infectious joy for all kinds of art.
